All students entering 6th grade in September, 2014 are required to have a tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (Tdap) shot.  Your child cannot start school in September without record of this immunization on file.  It is important to prepare for the Tdap vaccine now.  This immunization can be provided by your child’s physician.  It is also available at the Health Department at no cost.  Documentation from the doctor or Health Department should be presented to the school nurse.  Make your appointment now to help your child be prepared for middle school!
